Jonix (b. 1998 - Humacao, Puerto Rico) is a Florida-based visual artist and photographer exploring the intersection of identity, memory, and transformation through handmade sculptural headpieces and surreal portraiture. Each piece begins as a sketch — a spontaneous emotional note or daydream — that he brings to life with fabric, texture, and form. His practice is unique as he combines his love for photography with his passion of creating tangible pieces to use in his work.
